“Everyone Calm Down” Texas Reinforces Philly - The Election Isn’t Over

On election night, President Trump had a clear path to victory as he stood to take Pennsylvania with a margin of 800,000 votes. By the following afternoon, that lead reversed as an endless wave of mail-in ballots were counted toward the Biden campaign. “They are trying to steal the election,” President Trump told the country.
Reports of foul play in Philadelphia circulated around social media, including video of election observers being denied entry or removed from polling and counting locations. Additionally, a mail ballot backdating scheme was alleged to have taken place in the city per a USPS whistle-blower.
The Trump campaign immediately assembled a legal team to challenge the irregularities. Volunteers traveled from across the United States to Philadelphia to assist the effort. An entourage from Texas arrived November 7th which included State Representative Briscoe Cain and Texas Freedom Caucus Executive Director Mikael Garcia.
“Late last Thursday night, I got a call from a friend looking for volunteers to verify some of the complaints with alleged irregularities here in Pennsylvania. If we were willing to do it, we'd have to jump on a plane in less than ten hours,” Rep. Briscoe Cain told HC. “We hardly had any time to prepare, but when we get the call of duty, we're not ones to stand down. We're proud to be here making sure that the election was administered properly and we're going to make sure that every legal vote is counted."
Meeting at a secret location, the team works to triage the high volume of voters contacting the campaign with issues. The volunteers work to test the validity of claims and then categorize the type of infraction. When the team finds a legitimate case of voter suppression or voter fraud, the lawyers will draft an affidavit. The individual voter who is making the claim will have their name going public as those affidavits are made under penalty of perjury. There is also a group dedicated to finding dead voters that cast ballots in the 2020 election.
“Obviously I'm biased in who I'd like to see win the race. But above all, we're really here to make sure that these results are sound and legitimate,” Mikael Garcia said. “We're all perfectly comfortable with the result of an election that doesn't turn out the way we'd like to see, but only if we can be sure that it is, indeed, a legitimate election. Without sound election integrity in the United States, there's really no point in voting at all. And I'd hate to see a whole generation of people become so jaded with the process that they don't even feel like participating."
Complaints being sworn in affidavit are numerous. Among those described to HC included;
Voters showed up to the polls, found out someone already voted in their name, and were told to fill out provisional ballots.
Voter machines had technical issues.
Election workers give Republicans pencils at the polls, when election law says ballpoint pens must be used.
Numerous poll workers wore Biden gear.
Election workers stood over voters’ shoulders while they voted.
Older people were treated differently than other groups, as they are more likely to vote for President Trump.
Philadelphia does have a long history of corruption. This is the city where the New Black Panthers intimidated voters in a predominantly black district and were let off the hook during the Obama years. It is also the city of the notorious 1980 Abscam sting where three Philadelphia councilmen and two Pennsylvania congressmen were convicted of bribery and conspiracy. Frankly, there is no telling what the Trump campaign will uncover when they go digging.
One thing is certain, the last time the Republican Party cleaned up a shady Democrat county, they did it well. Look no further than Broward County, Florida, who delivered election results on time this year. Hopefully, Philadelphia will get the same treatment to the benefit of Pennsylvanians.
For the election, President Trump does have a path forward to victory. North Carolina, a state the President needs, will not be called until November 12th as mail-in ballots were permitted to be counted up until that date. Among the four remaining battleground states; Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, three will likely head into a recount. The Presidential vote margins and recount requirements are below:
Georgia: Vote margin 0.21% Biden | Recount requirement less than 0.5%.
Pennsylvania: Vote margin 0.55% Biden | Recount requirement less than 0.5%.
Wisconsin: Vote margin 0.62% Biden | Recount requirement less than 1%.
The ballots will be scrutinized for irregularities, and the Supreme Court may ultimately get involved. The GOP wisely pushed through Amy Coney Barrett for this reason.
For now, Joe Biden and the mainstream media declared themselves the winner of the election. They should, however, take the advice of Texas State Rep. Briscoe Cain and “calm down.”
Fortunately, the Mitt Romneys of the party, who conceded to Biden immediately, are no longer in control of the GOP. This is still firmly Donald Trump’s party and they are fighters. This election is far from over.
