Was Scaramucci Involved in Spygate?
Anthony Scaramucci, the quick lived former White House Communications Director for the Trump administration, came out against Donald Trump by claiming the President is a cult leader and “a clear and present danger to the American society.” In addition to media appearances, Scaramucci suggested he is assembling a team of former cabinet members to remove President Trump from being reelected in 2020.
At first sight, it appeared Scaramucci made the decision to remove support for President Trump due to his being fired after only serving 11 days on the job. It was likely nothing more than a vain desperate attempt to stay in the spotlight. However, after further review, Joe Hoft of the Gateway Pundit unearthed a tweet from OANN host Jack Posobiec that might better explain Scaramucci’ true deep seeded desire to ‘stop’ Trump.
Posobiec’s tweet included an email from known Spygate operative Stefan Halper to Carter Page who is at the heart of the coup that tried to overthrow President Trump.
Halper wrote Page in July 2017 email:
I thought I’d write as the summer wears on to ask how you are and what your plans are at this point. It seems attention has been shifted a bit from the ‘collusion’ investigation to the ‘contretempts’ within the White House and, how—or if – Mr. Scaramucci will be accommodated there. I must assume this gives you some relief – We are here in Virginia enjoying a warm but quite summer. Be in touch when you have the time. Would be great to catch up.
Why would Halper mention “how -- or if -- Scaramucci will be accommodated” by the Trump White House?
Why would Halper “assume” that Scaramucci’ presence in the administration would provide “relief” to Page or anyone else?
After performing an advanced search on Twitter using Scaramucci’ handle, it appears that he has never mentioned Stefan Halper. In fact, he has never even mentioned the term Spygate on Twitter at all. This seems extremely odd considering that he once worked for the Trump administration.
Why would Scaramucci completely avoid tweeting about Spy gate or Halper? Spygate has shaped up to be the biggest political scandal of all time, and is one of the most tweeted, and high-profile news topics over the last two and a half years. It doesn’t make sense for him to avoid the topic altogether without an ulterior motive.
At this point it is unclear how or if Scaramucci is linked to Stefan Halper or the Spygate scandal, but as new information is revealed he should be closely monitored.
