Broward County Mystery Boxes, Gov. Scott Investigates, Congressman Gaetz Removed

Florida Governor Rick Scott made a declaration that Broward County will be investigated for refusing to report vote counts as mandated by law. The Governor, backed by the courts, also ordered a 7 p.m. November 9th deadline for Broward county election officials to grant entrance to the government for inspection.

County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes refused.

Congressional Representative Gaetz (R-FL) arrived on the scene last night and recorded officials loading and offloading trucks. He was removed by police from the area, but managed to record the incident and post to social media.

Rep. Gaetz via twitter, “I call on Florida Governor Scott to immediately suspend Brenda Snipes. She has failed to follow state transparency laws during this election, and has a long history of misconduct, including preemptively destroying ballots.”

It is unclear where the next few days will take the State of Florida. This story is developing by the hour.

The Houston Courant sent multiple requests for comment to several parties for this update. None have responded.
